Saturday – Soccer Games, Day of Service Rails to Trails and then Women’s Conference (for Me).
Monday – I had a living social deal I bought that was expiring end of the month, so we headed to Baltimore. I had an extra ticket so my mom came along. We toured 3 out of 4 of the Historic Boats (see Field Trip Friday). Then we headed home for Art Class and MMA. We also checked out a new playground near the art studio! Was a REALLY busy day!
Tuesday – A normal school day at home. Then it was soccer practice for Z while C went to cub scouts. We are working on our Colonial America work and a new science unit on Storms (post coming soon).
Wednesday – A normal school day at home. Then MMA and speech.
Thursday – Another field trip, I went back and forth on whether or not we were going to do this one, but I heard great things and decided it was worth the trip. It goes with our current history studies, so why not? Read about it at next week’s Field Trip Friday. We made it back just in time for soccer practice for C, and then hit the Chic Fil’A up at 730p for dinner. We NEVER do this, and I was very surprised at how busy the drive thru was at that time! The kids all slept on the way home, so no one was ready for bed at normal time. Late dinner, late baths, late bed! (With traffic this trip was an hour longer than I had planned…we enjoyed the trip, but not sure we will do it again, the kids were sooo good on the ride though, even the baby!)
Friday – Swimming and a condensed school day – computer classes and TV learning! With the rainy weather it was a good day for it! We had a hot lunch – Beanie Weanie and corn bread! I try to only do sandwiches a couple times a week….they get old, at least for me they do!
