Preschool Wrap-Up (week 14)

    
Art project:  Beehives using a lid (we used applesauce and juice lids), then we used a stamp for the bee, and put it on with a pop dot so it sticks out a little bit.  I got the idea from here

Weekly Workboxes - Week 14

We are continuing with insects - this week it's bees!  Unless otherwise noted the printables posted are from 2 Teaching Mommies BEE UNIT.

Books to Read

Open and Close with a bee eraser hidden in one.

Golf tees and yellow pompoms (put golf tee in holes, put pompom on tee)

Bb Tray

Putting the bees/honey into the hives - I fashioned this from a cut up toilet paper tube, glued them together and glued them to a meat tray.  Using the spoon they will transfer the yellow pompoms, one in each circle.

Preschool Wrap-up (week 13)


Counting Pom Poms for Caterpillar

Coffee Filter Butterflies (two coffee filters, color with water soluble markers, then drip water on with eye dropper.  Once dry separate the filters and fit into a clothes pin, add pipe cleaners for antennae).

Weekly Workboxes - Week 13

 This starts our 4 week unit of Insects - this week we are spotlighting butterflies and caterpillars.  Unless otherwise indicated, the printables come from 2 Teaching Mommies Butterfly Unit.  Thanks again to 2 Teaching Mommies for such awesome FREE printables!
