Field Trip Friday!
(does not have to be a 'home school field trip', can be any trip to any place with your children!)
We had fall break this week, so we had lots of trips, but I’m only posting one today!
We went to the Zoo, we have passes so it’s not the first time, but it’s always a good time!
The Gibbons (L) were very active, swinging all around and making all sorts of noise. (R) The zoo has some new baby warthogs ~5mos old. So cute!

(L) just hanging around, and (R) that white foamy stuff is a frog next, they make it from swishing their saliva to make it frothy, thought it was neat.
No trip to the zoo is complete without stopping downtown for some shaved ice! Seriously the best stuff EVER!! C wanted green and white (lemon-lime and lychee) and Z wanted green and blue (lemon-lime and blueberry). I got Obama’s rainbow and even if you don’t agree with his politics, I must say he has good taste in shaved ice! (Passion fruit, lemon-lime and cherry)
We highly recommend Waiola Shaved Ice in Honolulu!
