it was recommended in The Well-Trained Mind: A Guide to Classical Education at Home (Third Edition)
and I just wanted to say how much we LOVE this CD!
C wants to listen to it all the time, he thought it was going to be scary (I guess he thought the cover looked scary), but he just loves it. We listened to it on the way to the beach to camp last weekend, and Q, C and I were singing the songs in our heads all weekend long...(I guess that could be considered a good thing, or a bad thing, haha). C has a real knack for picking up on music, and after listening to it just a few times knows most of the words to the songs. They are really catchy words that go to the original works of music and talk about the composers and the songs as well. We like them so much that I went ahead and ordered the 2nd one

Additionally I placed an order for some kids books about the composers so we could learn more about the people behind the music. The books are on special 4 for 3 promotion.

I'm really excited for them to get here so we can start using them. Until then, we are enjoying the music on the CD's! They really are great, and I wanted to tell someone about them. So why not blog about it!

Oh, thanks for writing about Beethoven's Wig. My son loves music, and after listening to a few samples, I downloaded it on my iPod for us to listen to. It's awesome! So thanks for sharing!
