First Grade - Week 8

Here is what we did fun this week!!

History:  Making Woody into a Mummy (Pandia Press)  C had fun with this and ended up wrapping several other things with toilet paper.

Building the underground tomb of King Tut. This was a spontaneous activity that C came up with on his own after finishing reading about King Tut and seeing a map layout of what the inside of the tomb looked like.  He is using Safari LTD Ancient Egypt Toob with Jenga Blocks.

Science:  5 Senses experiment (Pandia Press)

I wasn't sure if C could handle this one, since it's a level 4...but he read it beautifully.
