Christmas Around the U.S.A. Review and Giveaway

I’m so excited to be able to take part in this AWESOME project and to be one of the first to review it, and even more so to be able to giveaway a copy to one lucky winner AND to giveaway a lifetime exclusive membership to The Enchanted Homeschooling Mom to another lucky winner  (that’s TWO WINNERS!!).

I’m so grateful to blogger’s like Jill for sharing their talents with all of us!  This review is focused on the Christmas Around the U.S.A. Curriculum, but I wanted to take a moment to say what GREAT things Jill has at her Exclusive Member’s Only Website, it’s filled with lots of great printables and one of a kind units, all at a bargain price of only $15 for a LIFETIME, and she is constantly adding new things (like this great Christmas Unit!)

Now on to the Christmas Unit!!
This unit is a really FUN way to explore US Geography this holiday season.  There is not a lot of religious references, so it is around the board friendly (to include secular, or non-Christian religions).  The unit starts out with making your own Christmas Tree craft, each state you ‘visit’ has a tree ornament and a stamp to add to your collection.  You learn about different Christmas traditions from each state and it also includes a Christmas Letter and pictures from a family in that state (you get to read about us in Hawaii!). 

There is also a fun game to reinforce your gained geography knowledge!

This unit does not have be exclusively used at Christmas Time either, have Christmas fun all year long as you learn about the 50 United States!
