Field Trip Friday!
(does not have to be a 'home school field trip', can be any trip to any place with your children!)
So we headed out this weekend for another lighthouse...#3 on Oahu that we have been to so far (3 out of 6), we plan to hit up 2 more. The 6th one is a 6mi hike to get to, and since the original one fell down is now nothing more than a light on a pole, so I think we'll forgo the 6miles to see it. It's suppose to be a beautiful hike, so we may head out that way one time, but it's not on our priority of lighthouses to see on the island, that's for sure.
Anyhow, today we headed out to Barber's Point, this is the first lighthouse on this island that you could actually get close to, most of them are fenced off to avoid vandalism and other issues.
