Week 38 in Review

week

Ever have one of those weeks where you feel like you just can’t get ahead?  Yeah, that was this week!  It seems to be a trend for me in April/May time frame, not sure what it is.  Allergies?  Maybe.

Anyhow…

Weekend – We visited the Home Depot Kid’s Workshop on Saturday, then my aunt watched the kids and hubby and I went to the temple with my youngest brother.  That was a great time!  Sunday was the usual church.  The JrFLL lego group that my son and hubby are with had their competition, but since it was a Sunday we didn’t go.  The kids did great though!  (I missed registering them for the 2 other competitions that were on Saturday, by the time I registered they were full already, I had no idea!).  See Field Trip Friday!

Monday – MMA was changed to the morning, and well that just threw off the rest of the day!  Not much was accomplished.  That evening I attended the co-op planning meeting for the fall.  I have yet to be able to attend one, so it was fun to go!  Such a great group of ladies that we have in co-op!

Tuesday- We were suppose to go on a field trip to Baltimore, but with the chaos that has been happening, it was rescheduled.  We had an easy day at home, C had a friend come over.

Wednesday – Z and K had their check-ups in the morning (6yo and 18mos).  All went well.  First time seeing that particular Doctor at the practice, he was a bit odd, but super nice.  But, that threw our whole day off, and I missed MMA b/c I forgot it was Wednesday, not so good off routine.  Then I spent the evening blogging (lots of reviews, and still more to do) and folding lots and lots of clothes!

Thursday – It was our last day of co-op.  After co-op we all went to the park for lunch and to mingle.  I really do love our co-op!  We left the house at 8am and didn’t make it back until 330pm…long day.  Then we had the Missionaries for dinner and I went out with the Sister Missionaries (my usual Thursday night routine).

Friday – Last day of homeschool swimming until the fall.  But we will start swim team up in a few weeks.  The morning was rough….the kids room was a disaster the last few nights but hubby put them to bed, and I didn’t notice until they were all asleep, so I had them clean it this morning…and that turned into yelling and not a good morning :/  We were suppose to go to Pizza Hut after swimming, but that was taken away from them…some other time (we have Book-It’s to spend).  Swimming went well and we are finishing up cleaning now that we are back home.   There is a Cub Pack meeting tonight.  I’m the new pack committee chair person, and I’m wondering what exactly/why exactly I agreed to this!  lol  I’m sure it will be fine, but the last few weeks I’ve been feeling exhausted and very overwhelmed, brain foggy too.  It may be a flare, or it may just be part of being a mom.  I never know!

Excited to see my family this weekend though.  Next week will be another busy one with me gone 3 evenings with church stuff, I will so be ready for that scrapbooking retreat that starts Friday evening!  I need a break!
