Week 26 in Review

First I just have to say that this has been a GREAT week!  I mean we have good days typically, but there is usually a few rough days mixed in each week (at least one).  This week has just been great! 
Weekend:  We went Saturday to our first HOME DEPOT free Kid’s Workshop.  The kids had a blast, we will definitely go back!  I mean, it’s FREE!  We got art in and C got to sign off something for cub scouts (building something out of wood!). More about that on Thursday for Field Trip Friday!   Sunday was church (nothing unusual).  The kids made cookies too and K helped for the first time. She is getting so big!!

Monday: I cleaned out my homeschool stuff, I have a TON for sale.  Time to stop hoarding!  You can check it out at my Facebook Page…it’s public so all can see it.  I will ship for a fee, and except Paypal.  Martial Arts on Mondays, as well as speech for c (4yo).

Tuesday: We were going to take a field trip today, but we are trying to cut back on spending, and well, sometimes it’s just nice to stay home!  So we did!  We never got to last week’s Architecture Project, so we did that today (bottom picture).  C has really gotten into K’Nex and is doing really well at it!  There are some great kits I have on my wish list for Physics next year too! 
Loving our new Google Chromecast, we can put our Architecture class and other computer classes onto the TV – wirelessly!  You can also put Netflix, Hulu, and more from your table to TV!  It’s awesome!  (We have a smart TV, so don’t use the app features, but to be able to cast from our laptop makes it well worth it!)

Wednesday:  Just another day.  The kids are LOVING their STAR WARS WORKBOOKS!  I have added in some manipulatives to make them a bit more hands on and it’s been GREAT!  I wish they had 3rd grade books, C is jealous!

Thursday:  Co-op.  We love co-op days, but they are so exhausting!  I’m glad they are only every other week!  The kids have so much fun though! 

Friday:  Swimming day!  Today is the last day of the session, we get one week off before we start up again.  We love swimming too, but again EXHAUSTING!  Something about taking all 4 kids to the pool by myself that just sucks what little energy I have out of me.
