Welcome to Workbox Wednesday! If you use workboxes, tot trays, or anything similar, feel free to post a link to your blog post or a picture (pictures can be from facebook, but please make sure they are PUBLIC so we can see them, or use a host like photobucket.com to get a URL for your photo) that shows WHAT IS IN YOUR BOXES!
Visit others that link up, leave comments, follow, etc. The favors will be returned! Feel free to grab a button too, so others can find the link up and join in the fun!
This week I’m featuring my 3rd graders boxes! For the most part the subjects stay the same, but the items will change from day to day especially for History, Science and Reading. We rotate Writing and Grammar (well just started to this week, we will see how that goes). Right now we are studying French and Indian War for History and Volcanoes for Science. (more detailed unit posts will come in the near future).
Science – Volcano stamp sheet set (Postal History Foundation), Writing – Essentials in Writing 2
History – French and Indian War Reading and Questions Sheet, Chinese – Worksheets (If you follow me on Facebook, you may have seen that I created worksheets to go with Rosetta Stone Level 1 Chinese…I am almost done with Unit 1 and will post soon).
Read Aloud – Ambush in the Wilderness (written on sticky note because it’s an ebook), Read Alone – Vacation Under the Volcano, Spelling – We are on the last lesson this week! Next week we start Level 2!!
Other things found in his workboxes this week – wide variety of books about Volcanoes, other French and Indian War worksheets (more on that later), Roman Numeral worksheets, Label the Volcano sheet.
