Our Favorite Apps for Preschool
There really are a zillion great preschool apps, I think most of the times the older kids apps are the harder to find. Even still with SO MANY preschool apps to choose from, it’s hard to decide which are cost worthy and attention worthy.
I shared the first day several animal apps that are beloved by my 3yo. These next two apps are loved by him, but have also been used regularly by my now 5yo over the last year.
Monkey Preschool Lunchbox
This app has counting, colors, shapes, beginning sounds, puzzles. It has it all, and after so many rounds completed they get a sticker for their sticker wall. My kids have loved this app (even the older ones find it amusing). I would say this is a great precursor to the Monkey Preschool Math mentioned on Day 3. The puzzles were a bit difficult for my 2yo (who is now 3) because of the touch and drag feature, but it was a good skill to build on.
Endless Alphabet
This app is great for preschool and app. It introduces the sounds of the letters, new words and helps with spelling those words. This is probably my 5yo’s favorite app, he plays it often. The monsters are entertaining, new words are constantly being added to the app. Thanks to this app my 5yo wanted a KAZOO for his birthday, haha.
