Review–Trident Case (TOS Review)

  We were lucky to be able to review the KRAKEN A.M.S. CASE FOR APPLE IPAD 2/3/4 from Trident Case.  I had not previously heard of the company, and well, I’m sure you can agree a GOOD case is HARD to come by!  (Especially when kids are invovled!)  If you have been looking for a durable case for your device, than this is the device for you!     The Trident case is for all ages!  It comes in a variety of colors.  It was easy to put on, and very sturdy!  I got the purple one (my favorite color!), so pick whichever one best suits your personality!     This is a military tested high grade case!  It feels durable and rugged, but not heavy or bulky!  I actually prefer it to my less durable cases which added quite a bit of bulk to the tablet.   It comes in 3 pieces (as pictured below).  Therefore, the screen is also protected!  Many cases only hold the device, but not protect the screen!  This is a great feature!  It was super easy to put together, it just snapped right on!  The only issue I had was the screen looking dirty, make sure to clean your screen well before placing the front cover on.     Every nook and cranny is covered, with the exception of the camera, by this cover.  There are rubber grips on the corner and sides for ease in holding it (this baby won’t slip).  The buttons are covered with rubber pieces .  The plug-ins are covered also with rubber pieces that easily open in order to access them.   My littlest monsters even tested the case out.  Thanks to the screen protection, I had no fear of baby drool on my iPad!  No fear of sticky fingers!  No fear of it being left on the floor to be stepped on or dropped (Okay, I’ll admit even though it says it’s military standard and rugged, it is my iPad and I was not willing to actually test the claims against drops or other things like rain, sand, vibration and dust; but, fears of it’s destruction by the tiny minions has been EASED drastically!  I trust their claims to be sound).

  The use of the touch screen is not affected by the protective cover, and the sound is still clear as ever!

CASE FOR APPLE IPAD 2/3/4 is $69.95.  There is a stand and holder accessory available for $19.95.  I purchased this piece (it was not part of the review), because I missed being able to prop my device.  The stand was well worth the purchase and just added to how much I LOVE this case.

I highly recommend this case to protect your device!  Tablets and smart phones do not come cheap (as we all know), this case is worth the cost to ensure that your device lasts a lifetime!

We are using Elemental Science this year for our Earth Science/Astronomy curriculum.  As with most curriculums, I tweak it a bit to make it more to my liking and to adapt what I can to my younger children as well.  Here is what we have done for
