Week 16 in Review

week

I’ve decided there is no such thing as a ‘normal’ school week anymore.  It always seems like something comes off that throws us off routine…I guess that is the ‘new normal’.  Ha!

Saturday and Sunday – we spent the Thanksgiving weekend at my parents (as previously mentioned).  Saturday morning was our family pics and well…we got a few back…they aren’t too bad.  Still waiting for the group shots (the whole gang).
Then Sunday was a church, and we had the sister missionaries over for dinner.  We love feeding the missionaries Open-mouthed smile

Monday – My morning started with K knocking the Costco size bottle of syrup off the table onto the floor!  Fun!

I had planned to go grocery shopping (it was much needed) but it was such a beautiful day (60 degrees) that we decided to use our underutilized zoo passes!  Then the kids went to the evening martial arts class.

Tuesday – Gymnastics in the morning for c (only one more week left and he joins his brothers martial arts class).  Then shots for K.  NO fun!

Wednesday – Left early for martial arts to run some errands along the way….stopping by the UPS store and the post office, as well as putting air in my tires!  Then martial arts, speech for c in the early evening and C has his first JrFLL meeting; hubby is a co-coach.

Thursday – Last day of co-op until January, C made snow in his gross science class with shaving cream and corn starch, Z played with dinosaurs and playdough and we exploded a volcano!!  K stayed in her class all 3 hours (yeah!) and we had a end of semester/Christmas party!  c had helped me make a German Chocolate Cake and some Cranberry Pineapple Jello….so yum!  Then we hit Costco….the cart was so full, I couldn’t fit another thing…and of course I still forgot stuff…DARN IT!  The had a raffle table at the party for a fundraiser, and the kids scored a huge tub of original Tinker Toys!  I typically go on splits with the sister missionaries on Thursday’s as well, always a good time!

Friday – We had a field trip to see the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra midweek concert for PreK-3rd grade.  The Nutcracker…it was great!  Then the kids watched The Nutcracker on Amazon Prime, while I chilled during baby K’s naptime.  Was a nice quiet break.
