Getting Fit in the New Year! #win

Family Time Fitness Platinum Package
I’m not really one for New Year’s Resolutions…but I do know that I need to get in better shape…and after a 2 week break from school, how better to start our new year, then with exercise!
You may recall I did a review of the Family Time Fitness program last year, I loved it, but it just seemed to always be dropped from the day b/c we always had it scheduled last…
so, I decided to make it first!  So this past Monday, we started our school day with our exercise plan.  It really was a great way to start the day, and for the most part the rest of the day went smoothly, and even though I started more than 30min later than what I wanted, we were still done with school by lunch!
It’s amazing how when you put the important things FIRST, there is always time for everything else, but when you don’t, the important things seem to get put aside.
Check out this great Article titled Physical Education and Learning.  It states that that just 20-30min of exercise a day is a crucial component to successful education.
I know I feel better and more alert when I exercise, so I can only imagine it has the same affect on my kids!
So, to help you make fitness a priority in your homeschool – I’m having a contest!  Winner receives a Family Time Fitness Premium Package (valued at  $137).
Use the Rafflecopter form to enter!  Make sure to leave a blog comment about what your family goals are for getting fit and being healthy in 2013!  (Be sure to actually answer the question or it won’t count!)
Everyone that enters will receive a 20% off coupon towards FTF products for a limited time at the completion of the contest.
Contest runs from midnight on 1/9 HST to midnight 1/15 HST. a Rafflecopter giveaway

  1. My goal is to lose another 30 pounds to go along with the 40 I lost in 2012.

This program would help me ensure that my kids have a head start on never needing to lose 70 lbs.

  2. Our family goal for this year is to LOOK FORWARD TO physical activity rather than just "getting it in." We would also like to do activity TOGETHER, rather than separately. :)

  3. We are going to start Roadschooling in March. That will put us outdoors and out of this house - that has to be healthier!

  4. My goal is to get in fit, not to lose shape, but to help with my chrinic pain from Fibromyalgia, Lubpus, Arthritis, and others. And I want to instill health and taking care of our bodies in my 7 year old daughter.

  5. Personally, I have a lot of weight to loose (just had my 4th baby). As a family we are trying to eat better and get in some family exercise like walks and playing at the park.

  6. My goal is to be able to "fast walk" a 1/4 mile run for my daughter in July. I know she can run it. I know right now I'd have trouble even walking it (I have a bad ankle) and remotely keeping her in sight. I want to lose weight, a goal of 15-20 pounds. There is much more to lose but if I could do that it would be amazing.

Having this program would help me to start instilling the importance of exercise with my girls now. They need it with us homeschooling. I need it. I can't afford to buy it, money is just too tight, but I need something to help keep us accountable. Thanks for the chance!
