3 items, and 2 EASY steps in 5minutes!!
What you need:
An old large frame (no glass insert needed)
A piece of felt to fit it (I scored a piece in the remnant bin at Wal-Mart!)
masking tape
Remove glass insert. Cover frame back with felt piece and replace it in the frame.
Trim edges on back of frame and secure with masking tape
Taa-Daa! You have a felt board!
To make your own felt pieces you can cut them from felt, or print objects, laminate and secure a piece of felt to the back with masking tape (or other adhesive, I found rolled up masking tape works fine!)
Wow! I just made a felt board last night. I used two peices of felt with stiff cardboard in the middle and Bright pink Duck tape (my daughter's idea)around the edges. Yours looks nicer, I wish I had thought of the picture frame :)
ReplyDeleteLove this idea! I have the felt to make one but have been procrastinating. I think maybe this weekend I will get mine finished. Also I have been given the versatile blogger award and am also passing it onto you! Details on how to participate are on my versatile blog post - http://www.kathysclutteredmind.com/2011/11/versatile-blogger-award.html
