We are using Expedition Earth by Confessions of a Homeschooler to go along with our Little Passports Packages. For this unit we did one lesson a week for 4 weeks. I also made up some Country cards (this document includes Brazil, Japan, France & Egypt, the first 4 countries from Little Passports)

Here are the cards I made, they include Brazil, Japan, France and Egypt (the first 4 countries in the Little Passports program)
Trying out some Japanese rice crackers and seaweed. The crackers were a hit, the seaweed was not.
We also attended an International Breakfast at our church (and I forgot the camera). So they tried some Japanese foods there, and had a little class on Origami.
Books to Read:
This Friday we will be attending an Obon Festival at the Buddhist Temple near our home. (Will post about this for Field Trip Friday on 8/26).

Great job on Japan we stop this country next week:) I tried to print out your country cards as they would go nicely with our note booking pages but couldn't get it formatted correctly is their a method to print these? I am hoping to complete Brazil this week we are tackling a huge art project of the amazon that we are trying to finish up.
