This holiday weekend, we were quite busy enjoying the outdoors and local state parks.  They have a ParkQuest program during the summer (I’ve mentioned it in a few of my Week in Review posts).  The goal was to get 10 by the 7th, but we only got 7 in!  O well!  We still had fun.

Friday we visited Fort Frederick Stake Park

If you completed 10 you got your name in a prize drawing and you get first dibs on participating next year.  Hopefully we can still get in next year.

By Monday night I was literally EXHAUSTED!! We hiked 5 miles on Monday and several more over the other days….

SimplyFun Saturday!! Diggers Garden Match

2015-08-20 14.02.16

Diggers Garden Match is a great game for little learners!  The number of spaces one goes is determined by matching shapes or colors together and counting the number of objects!

It’s a great game for identifying colors, counting up to 10, one to one correspondence, matching shapes and colors, early addition skills and analytical thinking!

My younger kids especially love this game, but it can be a great family game too! Up to 6 players can join in the fun!

2015-08-20 14.04.512015-08-20 14.08.502015-08-20 14.22.59

This game is available for $26 or you can join the Play Saver Club and get 15% off all purchases!!  Or you can host a SimplyFun party and receive games FREE!
