Getting Organized–Part 4

Milk Crates!

I have put hanging folders into these milk crates to organize our curriculum by weeks!  I have a the hanging folders by numbers, and extra folders labeled with the holidays we will be covering.  In each hanging folder is a file folder the preschool printables for the theme we will be covering that week I label the folder by the theme topic so that I can easily reference it in the future.

In the blue crates below I have our REAL books for History and Science, one crate for each.  It’s not the neatest, but it keeps then in one spot, so I can find them when I need them!

This means of organizing leaves me room for flexibility, if we don’t cover something one week, I just move it to the next week, I can print stuff off in advance and file it in the correct week…then I just pull out the week folder to set up the workboxes!  Then when we are done, I re-file the printed materials for future use!
