Echinoderm unit with Pandia Press Life Science
This project actually called for the use of a banana peel, but we didn't have any bananas (they go fast in this house) so I fashioned some ribbon to use, to demonstrate how Echinoderms are made of 5 parts.

I love it! All that you did with the marine life. We took a trip recently to the TN Aquarium and I learned that my girls know so much about the different animals of the ocean. I love how you've tied it in to all of your subjects.
ReplyDeleteI'm such a traditionalist when it comes to educating the girls but I wish so often that I was more creative...they'd LOVE it.
Great post!
Love the project ideas! We are doing first grade as well. Homer Price is on our booklist and we'll be reading it in a few weeks! We just finished Racketty Packetty House.
