So this week has been pretty low key! Field Trip on Tuesday, and light days all around. Even though we year round, I have just really been needing a break! I did start making some boxes for my littlest….if only they held her attention for more than 5 min! ahhhh!
Today didn’t start off on the right foot, so I called it a mental health day, we did some cleaning up and we all just did our own things….was nice…no fussing or fighting….Thankful for that!
I broke the sewing machine out this week and altered some goodwill jackets into civil war uniforms (Homeschool in the Woods) and made a buckle board for K.
Probably the most I’ve used it in years! Surprisingly it didn’t break down on me from overuse! ha!
Kids are LOVING the Chester Comix Series (top right in photos), they are available at Homeschool Buyer’s Co-op until the end of the month at a up to 54% discount!
Highlights of my week were – Crabs with friends, Girl’s night! We’ve been friends since our bigs were babies (we met in a baby playgroup!).
Before dinner I went shopping on my own!! I grabbed a few things and also got a my 6th Stitch Fix! I kept one shirt and a cardigan sweater. Shirt below. It’s completely sheer in front, so I have a cami under it (do people wear these things without camis??) The skirt here is one I bought at Ross. The sweater is similar colors and was just so comfy! Not that I need it now, when it’s 90 degrees out!
