STITCH FIX!
If you aren’t familiar with Stitch Fix, it’s a wardrobe subscription program, where you get your OWN PERSONAL STYLIST to pick our your clothes each package!
It’s great, it’s a little bit of what I DO FOR ME after all I do for my family!
You can find out more and make a profile for yourself HERE
You pay a $20 styling fee with his package (which is deducted from the cost of the items you choose to keep), pay for what you keep and return what you don’t want postage paid for you! The most you ever pay is the $20 styling fee, but I have yet to not like at least ONE item.
If you keep it all of it (5 items) you get a 25% discount off the total!
You can get boxes as frequently as you want, with no minimum requirement. You can set up regular shipments at designated intervals or schedule them as you want them.
I decided to do a video unboxing with this fix, let me know what you think of that and I can do more.
So now for the trying on portion!
Irina Braided Pocket Flare Jean – $88
Becky Cutout Detail Blouse – $44
As I stated in the video, I am not a fan of flare jeans, not to mention these are WAY to long, I’d need some platform shoes! I loved the way they fit up top, and the braided detail, but not for me! RETURNED
I didn’t like the blouse at first glance, but I did like it on. Unfortunately it was a tad big. I prefer a more fitted shirt, so for this one I think an XS would have been better. RETURNED
Clare Embroidered Top – $54
This was my favorite piece in the fix! Loved it and KEPT IT!
Arriga Crochet Sleeve Swing Tank Knit Top – $48
I liked this top too, despite it being a tank top. I paired it in the photos first with a nude fitted tee, and then a white fitted tee. It works. I liked that it’s long, and not too boxy (like the first top). KEPT
Athena Printed Midi Skirt – $158
Funny story about this skirt, I was really feeling like my stylist never looked at my Pinterest and didn’t really listen to my comments. I went to update my Pinterest board for my next scheduled fix and found that this was pinned. I had NO IDEA how much it cost when I pinned it though. I have a lot of things pinned on that board and find it odd that this was the ONLY thing pinned she sent. So either she does look at Pinterest, or this was a coincidence.
(I started using a specific IDEAS FOR NEXT FIX board that I delete and update for each scheduled fix)
Anyhow, this was a super cute skirt, and the length was perfect, I really liked it, but not $158 liked it. RETURNED
I had a $25 referral credit going into this box which helped offset the cost. I really do prefer to have a 5/5 so I can get that 25% discount (and then I only get a box every 5-6mos), but it’s fun this way too!
Here is my note for my next fix, which I have scheduled for May
I'd like to focus on just tops, I have LOTS of bottoms. Colors please! I have a Pinterest board linked in my profile, (ideas for my next fix) I update it each fix, Please look at it! I have other boards, like outfits for me, from my closet and my previous fixes. This should help you get a better feel for me. Total of fix around $200 is ideal. I love to have 5/5 fixes for that discount! Starting to think about spring to summer transition. I prefer cap sleeve or longer. See comments. TY
