Last Weekend – I had a mom’s night out with two great friends. We met at a roller’s and crawler’s play date when our oldest were just infants! now about 8years later and we are still friends (and have 8 more between us, 11 total)! It was a fun night! Saturday night was Women’s Conference, always inspirational! I watched form home, since I’d been gone most evenings all week!
K had her first roasted Marshmallow and they all wore their Easter dress to church on Sunday since this weekend is Conference weekend.
Monday – Since they were calling for rain on Tuesday, hubby switched his off day and took the kids fishing! This was their fresh water biomes field trip! I had a quiet day with Baby K and made a Costco run….my how easy it was with just the baby!
*The weather on Tuesday actually ended up being better than Monday…go figure!
Tuesday – A school day!
Wednesday – we were suppose to go to the zoo, but I was awoken at about 6am by puking! C got the stomach bug and was sick all day :/ My cousin (10yo) was here visiting to spend a few days, so her mom came to get her. We spent the day lounging around.
Thursday – C seemed to be better. He isn’t 100% but he did go outside and jump on the trampoline (against my advice). He feel asleep at 7pm. I think he over did it a bit. We took a light day, watched a bit of TV, did some computer school.
Friday – C is still off and on. We started a new unit study today that we are reviewing. Lewis & Clark: From Sea to Shining Sea by Homeschool Legacy. So far, so good! Unfortunately it is raining, so we didn’t get to do the nature portion…will have to do it next week.
This weekend – our weekend plans are up in the air…we are still waiting to see if C is fully recovered and want to make sure no one else comes down with it :/ Fingers crossed!
We made these grass heads when we did grassland biomes and they have grown quite a bit, I wanted to share. I just cut the top of a water bottle and wrapped their drawing around it with packing tape!

What a fun place, and the price is great! There are times I wish I didn't live in such a rural area.
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining in with Throwback Thursday again. I'm finally working my way through the posts linked up.
Have a great weekend.
Busy week! Love the Easter ties! :D I think we have the same red snowman jammies, but in smaller sizes.
ReplyDeleteSorry I missed your comment! That's too funny about the jammies, I think they were hand me downs from someone. I was stoked about the ties when I found them, though most of my male family members were not nearly as thrilled. :D
ReplyDeleteI still do that sometimes :/
