We are using Elemental Science this year for our Earth Science/Astronomy curriculum. As with most curriculums, I tweak it a bit to make it more to my liking and to adapt what I can to my younger children as well.
Count by 2’s with star eraser’s and star cards
Tweezing silver confetti stars onto black felt
Sorting day and night cards (black and blue felt)
Color cards from light to dark (in blue, black, orange and yellow shades)
Day and night activity
Night sky with black paper and star stickers
Day v/s night (black and blue paper) with sun, moon, star and cloud stampers, yellow and white paint.
Puffy paint clouds (equal parts shave cream and glue)

Because of the holiday, and a few issues we had getting the light table up and running…we are going to do this unit one more week. Up next is Seasons – Spring.
