It’s been my experience that in homeschooling that some subjects very easily get put to the wayside, so I have been trying to come up with ways to stop avoiding them and make them more easily incorporated with our daily routine. For me the first subject is art (I’ll address this subject later), the second is physical education.
So I looked into Family Time Fitness….and I LOVE it! I still need to be more disciplined myself to get it done on a normal basis (that’s my own fault), BUT it is so easily to implement! Everything is laid out for you, you don’t really need any special equipment (it does call for a hula hoop….and a few other items that can easily be substituted with other objects, they even make suggestions for you).
There are links with each exercise for Youtube.com demonstrations of how to do the exercise. The routine is simple, but it’s still a work out! I was a bit sore after our first day…but for me that was GOOD, because it meant it was WORKING!!
Just like most programs, you get out of it what you put into it! You can push yourself (and your kids) to give it their all, or you can only go lazily through the motions….that choice is yours. But one thing is for sure this is a GREAT program and a GREAT way to promote regular physical activity for a lifetime of healthy habit!
The program is a pdf file, I’ve been able to use it on my Ipad, which makes it even easier! It’s all right there and easily accessible.
Family Time Fitness has made it their goal to help improve the physical health of families!

Core 1 includes 260 preplanned lessons for ONE low price – only $57 and other more inclusive packages are available for an additional cost. BUT my readers can purchase for a 20% discount by using coupon code CGA20 (good until November 30th).
I highly recommend this program! This is better than a once or twice a week sports program, this is instilling healthy daily habits for a lifetime of health and wellness. Something I know I didn’t have growing up, but I want my children to have (and I need it too!)
They have also very generously offered ONE homeschool program for me to give away to my readers!
