Week 42 in Review

Last weekend – we had the end of season Lego party and the kids had a blast.  The rest of the day was spent chilling at the house.  Nice relaxing day.

This week in a nutshell – We had solar panels put on, That was the excitement for the Monday.  The rest of the week was rain, rain and more rain!!  We have been having fun with the Civil War unit we are doing.  The kids had their 2nd swim practice of the season.  Friday finally cleared up (after some rain in the morning) and we had a field trip to Harper’s Ferry.  Was a great day (aside from the humidity and gnats..ugh!).  Since we were stuck inside most of the week, we did school every day…some days more than others.  We go year round, so we don’t really summer break.

I’ve got a concert to attend tomorrow with my mom and aunt!  Hopefully it doesn’t rain, we have lawn seats! :/  The kids also have a stroke and turn clinic in the morning.  Fun times!
