Field Trip Friday!
Photobucket
A Blog Hop designed to share 'FIELD TRIP' related Blog Posts

(does not have to be a 'home school field trip', can be any trip to any place with your children!)

I’d like to welcome my 2 new Co-hosts with Field Trip Friday!  Please stop by and visit their blogs and give them a shout out!

Lisa @ Our 4 Kiddos
AND
Misty @ Mimi's House
(Misty will officially join us next week)

We took our ULTIMATE Field Trip recently!  We took a flight to the Big Island of Hawaii to spend 5 days and 4 nights!  (Unfortunately, we were all sick most of the time we were there with some horrible stomach bug…but, we made the most of it).

We enjoyed some pool time at the KONA COAST RESORT where we stayed (which I highly recommend)

We visited the Volcano National Park, and walked through a lava tube, walked on old lava flow and got to see the lava glowing in the night

We also stopped at a black sand beach to hang with the turtles for lunch!

We took a snorkel cruise on the FAIRWINDS (also highly recommended).  It took us to Captain Cook Monument which has THE BEST snorkeling in all the islands!  They feed us a light breakfast, lunch and gave an ECO Presentation on the coral reef and animals found there.  It was GREAT!

    4. So sorry you had to endure a bug while in Hawaii... but it looks like you made lemonade out of this lemon. Good for you!
