Field Trip #73 Friday Blog Hop


Field Trip Friday!

(does not have to be a 'home school field trip', can be any trip to any place with your children!)

In lieu of Chinese New Year, and because C takes Chinese classes, we headed to Chinatown for a special presentation by Hawaii National Bank and a little wandering.  We are part of a really great Homeschooling Group here on Oahu; this trip was set up by a member of the group.

We had a New Year’s party in Chinese class this year, and hope to go to the Lion Dance at the Town Center as well. 
One of the many things I love about Hawaii; it’s so rich in culture!

      How wonderful to have such great cultural diversity where you live so that you can participate in learning about the Chinese traditions! It's also nice to belong to a homeschool group that sets up great field trips.
