So our Beach plans were washed out…literally! The storm that hit the weekend before Labor Day closed down Assateague, initially they closed through Tuesday (we had planned to stay Mon-Wed), so we made other plans. They reopened it Tuesday morning, but we already had other plans…so O well!
We still had a good time though, we went to Great Wolf Lodge, spent one night. We then went to my parents house and stayed the night, the boys all went canoeing Wednesday morning and the girls went to IKEA! I needed a cart for our homeschool morning time, and finally got one!
It’s a bummer we didn’t get to go to the beach, but good times were still had!
