Week 47 in Review

week

We took another easy week this week….though we were busy! busy! busy!  none the less.

Swim practice MWF mornings (though my 6yo is now refusing to practice, SO frustrating!).

Our school days were pretty lax this week, C did his computer school work, Z did some Reading Eggs/Math Seeds.  Then we did a lot of reading, and a little of the other stuff (we divided one day of normal work over a week, and supplemented with reading!)

C has been reading this book all week!

Monday we went to the park to do a Park Quest and then met up with my aunt, her grandkids and an old friend at the playground.  Another friend of mine also came and met up with her kiddos!  Was fun!

We also had a bit of a nature study finding some black snacks on the rock wall, and a cicada that had just molted.

It’s been years since we had been to Gathland, they have a nice little museum set up now!

Thursday C hung out with a friend from Lego club all day (they swam in the pool, went to the indoor trampoline park, and of course, played Lego!) I took the other 3 to get my new cell phone hooked up (FINALLY!!), we ate a Chic-Fil-A and had a Costco run!

Today (Saturday) they older two are at a swim meet with my husband…and me and the littles are hanging out!

I have a talk to give and a lesson to prepare for Sunday!  Then I’m headed to my folks to visit with my best friend from high school, it’s bee about 5 years since I last saw her!!  Exciting!

I’ve been busy all week (and will continue to be so) working on the 31 Days of Field Trip Series!  Have you been reading??

I’ve also been reading Yellow Crocus and been enjoying it quite a bit!
