The Baltimore Museum of Industry had some Homeschool Days this month. We have attended 2 so far, and there is one more next week (which we won’t be able to make).  They had fun classes for the kids and we got to tour the place.  Ages 6 and under are FREE (unless registered in a course) and on Homeschool days one parent is free also.

The first week we were the only ones that came.  So my two boys got a private tour (we tagged along) and had a class making roller coasters out of foam tubes and marbles.

The second week we brought a friend, the older boys (her boy and mine) were in a class on their own, the younger kids class had a handful of kids.  The younger kids had a really fun tour, they got to dress up as different workers during early Baltimore times.  The older kids worked as ‘canners’ and also did a scavenger hunt through the museum.

We had a great time!

I am also collecting field trip posts for my 31 days of Field Trips next month….if you would like to contribute, please fill out this form!  Thank You!!
