Book Review: Gloveables @ParragonBooks

Gloveables (Glovetastic Box) is a fun how to book.  Make several stuffed animals from old gloves!  This kit comes with a glove, some stuffing and 2 eyes as well as an instructional booklet on how to make 8 different glove creatures and other useful items.  Several of the creatures require 2 gloves, or 2 mittens.  The projects are rated by experience needed.  2 projects are for beginners, 2 are for intermediate and 4 are for advanced projects.

You would also require scissors, needle and thread to complete even one project, as well as more gloves/mittens, buttons and stuffing to complete more than one project.  The items that are included are for one of the advanced project, the striped dog.

This would make a very cute gift for the little sewer in your life. It’s a great way to recycle older gloves/mittens as well! I know we are always a few gloves short end of season!
