Week 22 in Review

Previous Friday Evening – I hit up the Deep Water H20 and man!  It was a lot more of a work out than the Monday class!  I loved it!  Going again tonight!

Saturday & Sunday – Is it weird that I can’t remember what we did on Saturday??  Sunday was church as usual, we over slept but still managed to make it on time!  I taught a lesson on Prayer, it turned out really great!

Monday – School today!  Then Martial Arts and Speech!

Tuesday – Field Trip to The National Building Museum, which included a drive into DC….teeth clenching…it worked out alright, we managed to not hit too much traffic, found our destination alright and paid for parking the night before, so no parking issues (except that it was a really small garage, not made for suburban’s).  The trip was great and we hope to go back again another day, but next time we will brave the metro….it’s slightly intimidating, especially with 4 kids!  More about it this coming week on Field Trip Friday!

Wednesday – School Day!  Followed by Martial Arts and JrFLL for C.  It was a little bit of a rough day, not too bad.  What is it about the age 8 and lying?  Ugh??!!  Anyhow, nothing serious, we moved past it, but it’s so frustrating!  We got a new product to review (see c below so excited!!)  More to come on that soon!

Thursday – Okay…we were going to go to the Maryland Science Center but dumped it again.  Bad Mom!  O well…I just couldn’t travel to Baltimore after just having gone to DC…only so much city driving I can take in one week (make that one month!).  But we had a GREAT school day, accomplished all that didn’t get done on Wednesday…and more!  Had some game time will Baby K napped too! 

We also worked on our Animal Trackers Club box!!

Friday – We started swimming lessons back up after a winter break!  The kids were glad to get back into the water, especially Baby K.  Swim days take up a big bulk of the morning, so we don’t do official school on these days.  C did some computer school (Veritas Press, IXL, Rosetta Stone, Clever Dragons(review coming soon)) and Z did some too (Reading Eggs, Math Seeds, they added some more lessons!!) C completed some of the worksheets that I made for Rosetta (those will be posted very soon for Level 1, Lesson 1).  Then they did their Intro to Architecture Class, (another review we are working on)! 

The kids are now setting up the basement for a campout with Dad, and I’ve got dinner in the oven about to head out to Deep Water H2O! 

Not sure what’s in store for this weekend….
