My son was super excited to give the Minecraft Units a try by Time For Home School by Veronica Robbins.  He loves Minecraft and I love to be able to incorporate learning experiences into Minecraft!  It’s a win-win!
My son was super excited when I showed him the packets that we would be reviewing!  He rarely is as thrilled with other reviews we do (though he almost always ends up happy in the end).  Anything Minecraft is an instant win these days!
Area and Perimeter is something we have covered before, but it has been awhile, so this was a GREAT and FUN review of the concepts.
The packet consists of several pages.  They have screen shots from the game with questions to answer in regards to finding the perimeter and area of the items that were built (and are shown).  The course ends with building your own items in game based on the specifications given on the worksheet.  For example, build a pig pen that is 36 sq meters (area).  So he had to figure out what measurements would equal an area of 36.
After this they are instructed to find several objects around the house to measure and figure out the perimeter and area of the objects.
The Types of Angles packet is pretty small and more an introduction to angles.  It was still a fun one, and the first time we have discussed angles.
The WriteCraft packet has lots of topic suggestions and ideas to get those creative writing juices flowing.  Writing (especially creative writing) is a hard subject for us.  We are struggling with this one a bit, but not because of the packet set up.   But, we are working through it and the fact it’s all about Minecraft makes it that much less painful for my son!
These packets are recommended for grades 3 to 7.  My son is 8yo and in the 3rd grade, they were a good match for him.
This set of packets are currently available on Educents for $4.99.  They are a downloadable product. {aff}
My son and I both recommend them for Minecraft lovers!
