Stitch Fix #2

I’ve been counting down the days for my #2 Stitch Fix!  It arrived today!  So stoked!

I could hardly wait to see what was inside!  This is one of the best things about stitch fix, the surprise element!

I was happy with what my stylist sent.  She always adds a little note to go with it, as well.  A nice personal touch!  She thanked me for linking up my Pinterest page as it helped her pick some of the pieces this box!

So here is what was in the box:

From left to right – The shirt I LOVED, it’s a keeper.  It’s not a style I would usually have tried on, but I love the fit, it’s great!  The sweater was too big, it’s going back.  The maxi skirt is great!  I love the feel of it, it’s a keeper. The bracelet was cute, but I’m not a big jewelry person and it’s much more than I would spend on jewelry (it was more than the shirt!).  There was also a jacket, that I’m just noticing I didn’t get a picture of (I took one, I guess it didn’t work).  I LOVED the style of the jacket (military cargo style), but it was the most expensive item, and well I really do not NEED a jacket (I bought several before moving back to the mainland), so it’s going back as well.

The handy dandy fashion idea card that comes with your items.  You can see the jacket here (it’s the top right).

a better view of the jacket (since I didn’t get a photo)

Last box in my comments I stated the prices were a bit high.  They were lower this time, still more than I would usually spend, BUT these are also a much better quality of clothes then what I normally buy, so I expect to pay a bit more.

I wish I could afford to receive the boxes more frequently, but I will keep them at every other month.  My next box is due to arrive Nov 28th. (But I might have to change that because of the holiday)

Now I need to get some cute ankle boots for my maxi skirt!  Maybe for Christmas!  I’d love a pencil skirt too, maybe next box!

I can report though that I have worn my skinny jeans from last box A TON…I would have never even tried them on in the store!  The top, not as much, but now that cooler weather is here, I plan to sport it more often.

Just a reminder as to how it works.  You are charged a $20 styling fee for the service. This fee is charged whether you buy or not; however, if you do buy the fee is deducted from the total price of the items.  If you buy EVERYTHING you get a 25% discount.  This box would have cost $190.50 if I had purchased every item.  You return what you DO NOT WANT within 3 days of receipt of your package.  They provided you with a postage paid envelope to return the items in.  You then log into your Stitch Fix account to comment on the items, let them know what you are keeping and what you are returning and to pay.  It’s very simple!  It’s a bit of a process when you initially subscribe because of the questionnaire…but it’s important so they can send you what you like!

You can cancel at anytime.  No obligations to buy!

If you decide to try it out, please use my link.  I will receive a credit of $25 if you purchase something!

Let me know if you try it and how you liked it!

Here was the post about my first box, in case you missed it and want to check it out!
