You might have read in last weeks’ Week in Review that we made a trip to St. Mary’s City for Homeschool Days.  Now the GPS said it was 2hrs away, but with traffic it ended up being 3 there and 3 back!  Thank goodness they were angels in the car, that’s A LOT of driving in one day!  We spent more time on the road then we spent actually THERE…but, we had a good time and we were glad we went.  Not sure we will make the trip like that again…but, if you live nearby I would definitely check it out!

There is plenty of parking, which is NICE!  Also, pack a lunch as there isn’t anything very close by for eating, they have lots of picnic tables set up.  There is a small store that had some drinks and snacks.  Most of the paths are paved, so it is stroller friendly.

    In love your collage of pictures! It looks like your field trip was highly educational to learn about Pioneer Days!
