We read:

One of the ornaments we made with our Christmas Curriculum.  We are using Discover Christmas, and on several of the days I have ornament kits to go with the theme of the day.  This day we learned about the tradition of lights on Christmas trees.  This was C's first sewing project, he really enjoyed it and did really well.  (It's given me a GREAT idea for Christmas Curriculum for next year that I'm working on now!)

Some other ornaments we made this last week.  We learned about the tradition of Christmas Trees, the tradition of decorating them with ornaments and when Christmas Trees came to America as a tradition.

*I have 3 sets of 17 different ornaments and a Merry Christmas Banner to decorate on sale for $15 (plus $5 s&h) and I have 6 sets of 14 ornaments with banner for $12 (plus $5 S&H)....if you are interested, email me.  I accept paypal, and I'll ship them out to you.  Only supplies you will need are straight pins and glue...for the larger set you also need a sewing needle.

  1. History Odessey has intrigued me in the past; I too, have a first grader. I'll have to check it out. I tried clicking through your link but got an error. Looks like you had a great week. Love weekly reviews, you tend to forget all that you have done!
