For our nature time this week we went to the Botanical Gardens in Kaneohe for a group tour and some catch and release fishing. My boys have been before, but this was the first time going with out the hubster!
Only one of my boys caught a fish, but fun was had by all!
The HOOMALUHIA Botanical Gardens have Keiki (child) fishing every Saturday, for FREE, they even provide bamboo pools. You may bring your own, but your hooks must be barbless, as it is a catch and release program. They have an annual Keiki Fishing Derby as well.
