First Grade - Week 6

 Here is what we did Fun this week for First Grade:

We introduced the Calendar Notebook from Confessions of  a Homeschooler

We started Ancient Egypt, and used Hieroglyphic stamps to make words

Then we used the stamps to make those words on clay tablets (made from corn startch clay)

For science we studied the Respiratory System, and we did some experiments that involved exercises and counting how many breathes we took afterwards in a minute.  Pandia Press Life Science I
