We scooped out all the seeds, then we used a 100s chart to count them (I forgot to get a picture of this). We placed one on each spot, to get 100, then put them in a pile and made more piles of similar size to estimate how many seeds were in the pumpkin, There were about 400.
The we placed some seeds in a Ziploc with wet paper towel and taped on the window, and planted some other seeds inside the pumpkin to see how they grow!
