We’ve always wanted to put C into martial arts, I took a brief stint of it before I joined the Army, and Q has always wanted to take it as well. One of the bonuses to the location of our house is that we are walking distance from the local Rec Center which offers Karate classes. So we signed up shortly after moving here. We’ve been attending as a family (well Q, myself and C…the other 2 are too small yet) for about 5-6mos now. C just tested this last Saturday and passed for his Orange Belt (3rd belt in the sequence). He was promoted this past Tuesday at the end of the conclusion of class.
Q and I both received our purple belts (4th in sequence last month). No pictures of Q, since I’m home with the kids (who are in bed) when he gets promoted.

Congrats. My kids are doing Martial Art classes but they earn badges and not belts but are still tested. Thanks for sharing your son's great accomplishment on NOBH
