DIY Felt Board

3 items, and 2 EASY steps in 5minutes!!

What you need:

An old large frame (no glass insert needed)
A piece of felt to fit it (I scored a piece in the remnant bin at Wal-Mart!)
masking tape

015
Remove glass insert.  Cover frame back with felt piece and replace it in the frame.

016
Trim edges on back of frame and secure with masking tape

003
Taa-Daa!  You have a felt board!
To make your own felt pieces you can cut them from felt, or print objects, laminate and secure a piece of felt to the back with masking tape (or other adhesive, I found rolled up masking tape works fine!)

  1. Wow! I just made a felt board last night. I used two peices of felt with stiff cardboard in the middle and Bright pink Duck tape (my daughter's idea)around the edges. Yours looks nicer, I wish I had thought of the picture frame :)

Also I have been given the versatile blogger award and am also passing it onto you! Details on how to participate are on my versatile blog post - http://www.kathysclutteredmind.com/2011/11/versatile-blogger-award.html
