An Egyptian snack - Palace Bread – this was SOOO sweet, we had a ton leftover, the kids loved it, but I couldn’t handle the sweetness.  I suggest halving the recipe.  Recipe from A Trip Around the World (used in Expedition Earth Curriculum)

  1. Thanks for this post. I'm going to share this post with my mil. She is teaching about Egypt and I bet she will like the resources you shared.

  3. What a wonderful unit -- it looks like your kids are having a great time. The unit we did on Ancient Egypt, several years ago, was probably my favorite ever.

  4. We did some work on Egypt before, but unfortunately my daughter is deathly afraid of anything related to mummies. It looks like you had a lot of fun though - great books too. Thanks for joining WMCIR!
