Oklahoma & Idaho State Study (with state card updates)

For more resources on state studies go here
**I just updated the state cards, they now include HI, AK, ID, OK, AZ, NM, UT, WY, MT, WA, ND, SD, NE, CO, WV)  You can get them FREE HERE

Most of the activities for these two states were focused on Idaho, but we did talk about Oklahoma too!
043
We sorted the state cards for Oklahoma and Idaho

053
Mapped it with our Idaho postcard and family pictures (we have not received an Oklahoma postcard yet)
044046
We did potato stamp painting
050
We had crock pot scalloped potatoes with ham and peas
You can find the recipe here, I added frozen peas for the last hour.  It was very good!

051053
We made potato doughnuts, the recipe makes a TON, I suggest cutting it in thirds!  We gave a lot away, but ate a ton ourselves too! They were really good.  We cinnamon and sugared them, as well as powdered sugared them.
The recipe is HERE

We are also trying to sprout a potato

Had trouble finding books for this one too (I had a huge list, but couldn’t find any at the library, they must have been unshelved or something and I never made it back to try again)
