What My Child is Reading this week:
So we had a really short week this week with the holiday, a field trip, a half sick day (for me and my sanity), and a day for science class and grocery shopping. But we still read, of course. My kids love reading, and are bringing me books all day long asking me to read to them, my husband reads to them every night before bed, and now that my almost 5yo is reading more and more on his own, I have a hard time keeping track of what books we read each week!
Here are a few library picks that we read:
(Though we did not make it to the library this last week to get our weekly prizes because of not having a car most days, boo!)
This book came with instructions on building a paper boat, so we had to try it out:
Some books my son read to me this week (he has been working towards free books through the border's summer reading program, so far he has gotten 2 free books, he has to read 10 books to get one free; he is half way to another free one).
The Nose Book by Al Perkins
A Fish out of water by Helen Palmer
Can you tell me how to get to Sesame Street? by Eleanor Hudson
Cooking with the Cat by Dr. Seuss
Danny and the Dinosaur by Syd Hoff
