I bought some apricots at Costco the other day to make baby food with, and it left me with this cool plastic, egg carton type container. It has 21 compartments in it, about the same size as egg compartments, but slightly shallower. So... I wanted to see what great ideas my readers could come up with to use it for! I have a few in mind...but I know I have so many creative readers and co-bloggers out there; I'd love to see what you can come up with!
Hmmm, it would be great for sorting small objects.
ReplyDeletePut a number in each one, give the kid(s) some bean and use it to practice counting.
Snacks! Put lots of little snacks in it.... fruit, cereal, dried fruit.... any small finger snack. Kids think that sort of presentation is fun!
Ok, these are most likely ideas you've already come up with, but maybe not.

ReplyDeleteThanks! I had thought of counting, but not snacks...thanks! Or combine the two...counting snacks ;)

ReplyDeleteHmmm....For a rock collection? Label the bottom with the name (and type) and a rock sample on top. A seed starter? Poke holes in the bottoms of each cup, add soil and some seeds. Once the flowers or veggies have germinated, transfer to a large pot or garden patch. Stopping by from HHH!
ReplyDeleteOh, how about mixing paint colors to get secondary colors??
